About Me

Ateek Chima is a Sound Designer and Sound Engineer with over a decade of experience crafting immersive audio for film, television, animation, and advertising. With a foundation rooted in both technical precision and musicality, he specialises in shaping sound to enhance story, emotion, and world-building.

His journey began at age 12 as a drummer in rock and metal bands, before expanding into electronic music production at 17 under the aliases ARChima and Mozark. His releases gained recognition within the trance and progressive house scene, laying the groundwork for a career that bridges sound design, engineering, and composition.

Ateek has contributed to a diverse range of international projects, including the Iranian feature Orca, the Pakistani feature Kamli, and the Laeeb Mascotverse for the FIFA World Cup 2022, where he served as lead sound designer. His work has also been recognised with a “Best Sound Design” award at the Telly Awards.

Alongside his work in sound, Ateek is an accomplished composer and music producer. His approach blends orchestral, organic, ethnic, and electronic elements, allowing him to create cohesive sonic identities that seamlessly integrate sound design and score.
